SHOULD I CONSOLIDATE MY SUPER?

A lot of our clients have benefited from consolidating their super into one account. We can let you know what your options are and a few things to consider before you consolidate.

Before doing anything, we'll show you projections to see if there are any benefits of consolidating your super. That way you have all the information to make an informed decision.

THINGS TO CONSIDER BEFORE CONSOLIDATING

  • Are there any exit or withdrawal fees you need to look out for?

  • If you hold insurance in your existing fund and want to keep it, can it be transferred? Insurance cover is not automatically transferred when you consolidate.

  • Tax deductions: If you’ve made an after-tax contribution to the fund you’d like to move money from, you may be eligible to claim a tax deduction. You can only claim a tax deduction before exiting the fund.
